Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is Here, and No You Can’t Call In Sick Today
Were your kids some of the ones standing out in front of the Best Buy or computer gaming shop at midnight last night waiting for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to be released?
In case you think this is just a video game, let me remind you that it has big time Hollywood writers and producers involved along with Trent Renzor from Nine Inch Nails doing the soundtrack. Heck, they had Robert Downey Jr. in the Guy Ritchie produced promo–that’s been viewed 28 million times on YouTube. It’s kind of a big deal. This is the future of cinematic gaming, at least that’s what they’re calling it. It’s a more immersive experience than you would normally get watching a movie, while the participants become part of the story. this is also where the big money is: B as in billions of dollars worth of these games will be sold in the next week.
So if your kids are laying there in bed going on and on about how bad they feel, and that they should probably stay home from school today,as with a brand-new copy of Black Ops sits by their Xbox or PlayStation, they are LYING!. Just thought I’s let you know.
