Okay, so you made it through the holidays, one of the most depressing times of the year for some of us. I’m going to tell you what made a difference for me this season.
One of the most controversial subjects in the American discourse today is the Second Amendment and the rights of Americans to own firearms. In light of current events, I hoped to bring truth to my listeners today, from a perspective they’re not hearing from the mainstream media.
Last night was the radio station’s Christmas party but I had to duck out for a few minutes for some very important business that had to do with...space travel. No I’m not Dr. Who or Capt. Kirk, I’m a sky watcher, and I knew that the International Space Station (ISS) would be making a flyover West Texas at exactly 6:25PM.
I was sitting in the movie theater with my wife recently, when I saw the preview come on for a new movie called Promised Land. Being from ‘oil country’, the preview of this film made my blood boil.
The City of Midland's Christmas Parade happens tonight beginning at 6:30PM. Come and see the fun and floats, with prizes and lots of things for the kids to participate in.
It was another wonderful night for the city of Midland to kick off the Holiday Season with the Midland Chamber of Commerce and Midland College’s lighting of Carillon Tower.
Midland Fair Havens held their first ‘Gingerbread Havens’ fundraiser today. The event was a rousing success with so many wanting to participate, there was a waiting list of others wanting to take part.

It turns out that there are Grinches out there who would like to ruin Christmas by taking delivered packages off people’s front porches. One billion packages will be delivered in the United States this holiday season.
