The full 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' trailer has arrived, and it's a testament to how good this movie really looks that we all really know what's going to happen (it's called 'Planet of the Apes' not 'Planet of the Humans' for a reason), yet it's still incredibly suspenseful. [UPDATE: Now with an international trailer below with even more new footage!]

We've been teased with a lot of 'Apes' imagery in the previous teasers and pics from the film, but this new 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' trailer gives us our most in-depth look at the film yet, and gives us our first listen as to what Caesar sounds like when he talks.

There's a lot of stuff to like in this new trailer, including the old 'Apes' maxim "Ape shall not kill ape" being taught to a makeshift classroom of baby monkeys, the growth of the ape society and glimpses of what promises to be the climactic battle between the apes and the surviving humans.

The official plot synopsis goes like this:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' opens in theaters on July 11.
