'Fast and Furious 7' keeps adding to its cast, with Tony Jaa, Rhonda Rousey and Kurt Russell all recent additions. But now the 'Fast' family has grown even larger as Djimon Hounsou is the latest to join the sequel.

Variety is reporting that Hounsou is set to join the film, though they offer no details on his role. One thing is for sure, the movie will have a lot of shaved heads.

Hounsou got his breakthrough role in 1997 when he appeared in Steven Spielberg's 'Amistad,' and has been working steadily since. He's even picked up two Oscar nominations, in 2004 for  'In America' and in 2006 for 'Blood Diamond.' 'Fast 7' will be Hounsou's second big summer 2014 film as he will also appear in James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' playing Korath the Pursuer.

With James Wan finishing up his publicity duties on 'Insidious: Chapter 2,' he's about to begin shooting with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson all set to return, and with Jason Statham playing the villain of the piece. It also appears that Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris will return for the new film. 'Fast and Furious 7' is scheduled to hit theaters July 11, 2014.
