There’s an Apple Maps satellite photo of Loch Ness in Scotland, and it shows a BIG, mysterious shape in the water , and it looks like it has flippers!

Remember when no one could find anything on Apple Maps when it came out? Well, Apple Maps may have just found the Loch Ness Monster…No, really.

The satellite photo in Apple Maps shows something big in the water and it looks symmetrical with flippers! It measures about 100 feet long, and people immediately suspected it was the Loch Ness Monster.  In fact, the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club says it’s, quote, “likely” the Monster.

The skeptics who always ‘poo poo’ such ‘evidence’, say it just looks like the wake from a boat, which is fine except THERE IS NO BOAT?

The president of the fan club announced in February that no one had reported a sighting for 18 months which is the longest span without a Loch Ness Monster sighting since 1925.

The older picture featured in this story was supposedly of the Loch Ness Monster, near Inverness, Scotland, April 19, 1934. The photograph, one of two pictures known as the ‘surgeon’s photographs,’ was allegedly taken by Colonel Robert Kenneth Wilson, though it was later exposed as a hoax by one of the participants, Chris Spurling, who, on his deathbed, revealed that the pictures were staged by himself, Marmaduke and Ian Wetherell, and Wilson. References to a monster in Loch Ness date back to St. Columba’s biography in 565 AD. More than 1,000 people claim to have seen ‘Nessie’ and the area is, consequently, a popular tourist attraction.
