Hilary Duff abandoned her dark roots and got back to her 'Lizzie McGuire' roots. She's back to blond!

The actress and singer, who took a whole lot of time off to focus on books and her husband, Mike Comrie, and baby Luca, used some of her downtime to dye her hair again.

She took a photo of herself in foils, explaining how necessary it was to happen because her dark roots were out of control. We guess she got sick of the ombre hair trend right away!

Beauty buff Duff, who often does her own makeup for red carpet events, later revealed the full, buttery blond result, and we think she looks stunning.

Now it's just a matter of seeing if she starts having more fun.
