There's a scene in 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' where Jena Malone, who plays the character of Johanna Mason, strips down to nothing while in an elevator with Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) awkwardly looking on. In real life, Malone leaves little to the imagination again in a new music video for her song, 'Dead Rabbit Hopes.'

The 29-year-old actress is the lead singer for the experimental indie band, The Shoe, who will release a new album on June 3, 2014. 'Dead Rabbit Hopes' is the first music video for The Shoe.

In an interview with Stereogum, Malone talks about appearing pretty much nude in most of the video, wearing only strategically placed flowers to cover her up. She lays still singing for most of the song, surrounded by falling glitter and stars as the track progresses.

"I wanted to talk about a woman’s beauty and sexuality in a way that felt very different from our highly manipulated and sexualized world," she tells the site. "I actually wanted to desexualize my own naked body while upholding its own perfect eternal grace. I didn't want it to be about lingerie or booty shorts. I wanted it to be about the work of art that you are born with."

Malone will be reprising her role as tough girl Joanna in 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' and 'Mockingjay Part 2' as well. She recently teased to fans via her Instagram account that in 'Mockingjay,' "the world turns completely upside down."
