'American Idol' alum Josh Gracin reportedly took to his personal Facebook page to apologize and give an update on his condition after posting what many believed to be a suicide note.

“To all of you.. I apologize dearly for what I have put you through today… I am ok and I am getting help," Gracin wrote (quote via Taste of Country). "I am so sorry to all of you.”

Gracin, who came in fourth place during 'Idol' Season 2, sent fans, friends and family into a panic after posting what seemed to be a suicide note on Facebook last night (Aug. 14).

“Please remember me as someone who gave his all in his music,” the singer allegedly wrote on his Facebook. “Pray for my family as they carry on in this world without me. Goodbye.”

TMZ has revealed that Gracin is currently placed on a psychiatric hold in the hospital. He reportedly drove himself there with a police escort.

Within the apparent suicide note, the country singer seemed to reveal problems in his marriage to wife Ann, with whom he has four children.

“I’ve loved her for 17 years. I made mistakes … I’ve admitted them, told her the truth and she turned her back on me when I needed her help the most," Gracin reportedly wrote at the time.

We are sending our well wishes to Josh Gracin and his family during this difficult time.
