If you were utterly devastated when news broke that Zayn Malik left One Direction, you're not the only one. Justin Bieber's reaction was literally the same as ours.

TMZ caught up with the Biebs as he was leaving Bar 20 at the Grafton Hotel in West Hollywood on March 26 and they asked for his thoughts on Zayn's decision. While Justin initially chose to take photos with fans rather than answer the paparazzo's question, he eventually responded.

"Zayn's gone?!" he said. "Nooooooooo! Not Zayn! That was my favorite Directioner!" [Editor's note: We think he meant "member of One Direction," but we give him props for addressing the situation in any capacity.]

Justin is the latest celeb to address Zayn's choice to part ways with 1D. Earlier this week, both Nick Jonas and X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh spoke out about the situation as well. While the former JoBro commended Zayn for staying true to himself, Walsh implied that the singer's fiancée Perrie Edwards played a major factor in the choice.

Zayn broke his silence in an interview with the Sun, saying, "It is crazy and wild and a bit mad. But at the same time I’ve never felt more in control in my life. And I feel like I’m doing what’s right — right by myself and right by the boys, so I feel good."

The remaining members of One Direction also addressed the situation, thanking fans for their support. On March 26, Liam Payne shared a lengthy message via Twitlonger, assuring fans that it's okay to be sad.

In the meantime, we'll be playing "Spaces" on repeat and continuing to contribute to the 769% spike in One Direction Spotify streams.
