One of the most controversial subjects in the American discourse today is the Second Amendment and the rights of Americans to own firearms. In light of current events, I hoped to bring truth to my listeners today, from a perspective they’re not hearing from the mainstream media.

The first recording will be of me on air, asking your permission to share my views on the Second Amendment, being able to protect yourself with a firearm, a right that is guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States and affirmed recently by the Supreme Court.

The second is a phone call I received about 30 seconds after I turned off the mic. I did not air this, but I though in fairness I would post it here.

In this day and age, protecting our rights has to be forefront, whether that’s the First Amendment or the most important I believe, the Second Amendment, for without the Second, you wouldn’t be able to defend any of your rights.

The fallacy of the "ban all guns" argument is that criminals won't give their's up. Disarming honest citizens makes the world a more dangerous. Gun-free zones are a target rich environment for these monsters since honest citizens are not allowed to carry their gun.

The last thing anyone who legally carries a firearm wants to do, is to have to use it. More and more stories are coming out about normal, everyday citizens stopping crimes by employing their legally carried firearm. Learn the facts and don’t let emotional rhetoric convince you that guns are ‘bad’. They are a tool, nothing more, nothing less. What are your thoughts?
