Kristen Stewart is notable for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight series, but also for her awkwardness with the press. Her interview with Patti Smith, however, is captivating. I could not stop reading it.

Patti Smith interviewed Kristen Stewart for 'Interview' magazine about Kristen's new film 'Clouds of Sils Maria,' for which she has earned a Cesar, the French equivalent of an Oscar. This is newsworthy, because she if the first American actress to receive a nomination in 30 years.

They mostly discuss work. Smith compliments Stewart's bravery in her roles, noting "You [Stewart] have a gift for showing restraint. Even Bella Swan, she has a practical streak even though she does something completely, you know—"

They further discuss other interests that Stewart is exploring like painting and writing. The article is coupled with high fashion photographs from Steven Klein.
