Rihanna doesn’t mess around when she’s wronged somebody, even if it was an accident!

The singer posed for a courtside selfie with Los Angeles Police Commission President Steve Soboroff at a basketball game last week. In a moment of clumsy fate, Rihanna dropped the phone mid-pose, cracking the screen. Whoops!

The ‘Unapologetic’ singer, ironically, later tweeted an apology, but she didn’t stop there.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Soboroff shared that the generous RiRi donated $25,000 to help fund police cadets from underprivileged backgrounds and the families of fallen officers. That’s quite a bit of cash for a phone that retails, at very most, less than a grand.

Soboroff doesn’t have to worry about what a new phone costs, either. Rihanna took care of that, too, replacing the one she cracked. And she gladly obliged when he asked her to sign the broken phone to be auctioned off for more funding for under-served students looking to join the Los Angeles Police Department’s cadet program. She signed the phone with, “Sorry! I [heart] LAPD. Rihanna.”

As of this moment on May 14, the phone is already going for more than $55,000 on eBay. Wow!

Rihanna might get a bad rap in the media sometimes, but there’s no denying she’s got a very generous side to her. Not only that, but girl is a champ at apologizing.
