How I Longed for a Cabbage Patch Kid in the 80s

I remember that christmas in 1985, I was 10-years old and all I wanted was a "corn slik" Cabbage Patch Kid! The Cabbage Patch Kids had there owne theme song, birth certificate and wanted to just love you!

Everytime the TV commercial would come on, I would get so execited and start yelling to my mom, "that one, please that one!"

My mother and father knew that was the only item on the list!

Getting my Cabbage Patch Kid for Christmas was the best unwrapping ever! Seeing the doll behind the plastic screen waiting  for me to sign that adpotion card was awesome, of course I cried!

My Cabbage Patch Doll was named: Emily Madison and she had red corn-silk hair! I was so execited, it was the best Christmas ever! I had my Cabbge Patch Kid for many years and sadly I gave her away when i was 15!
