Less than a month after he was charged with a felony for brutally beating up a man in a restaurant, 'Scandal' actor Columbus Short is accused by his wife, Tuere Short, of holding a knife to her throat and threatening to kill her and himself, TMZ reports.

The incident, which occurred on April 7, began, by Tuere's account, when the actor entered their bedroom drunk with a bottle of wine. He allegedly acted like he was going to throw the bottle at her, but instead spilled the wine all over her and chased her into the kitchen with a knife, where he then allegedly pinned her down to the couch and started to choke her.

According to Tuere, he insisted that they play a game called "Truth or Truth," and said if she lied he would stab her in the leg. Short then started listing the names of men that he thought Tuere had affairs with -- and though she denied it, that was when he threatened to kill her and himself and slashed her tire when she tried to leave.

This terrifying altercation follows a horrific Valentine's Day in which Short was charged with spousal battery and child abuse for beating Tuere while their children watched. After this most recent incident, Tuere has filed for divorce and has requested full custody of their 2-year-old daughter. (Short has a 10-year-old son with another woman.)

She has also filed a restraining order against the 'Scandal' star which demands that he moves out of the house. According to TMZ, police were at their home today to ensure that he moves out without conflict.
