With 'Star Wars: Episode 7' scheduled to start shooting in less than three weeks, we're pretty much guaranteed to know who will be cast in the film shortly, and all evidence suggests an announcement will be made some time on or around May 4, 'Star Wars' Day. But even with shooting right around the corner, the latest rumors add 'Inside Llewyn Davis' star Oscar Isaac into the mix and suggest that Harrison Ford has a huge role in the film.

Over at Deadline, Mike Fleming informs that Ford's role may be huge and that Isaac is the latest name to be mentioned for a leading role, alongside the previously reported Adam Driver (already said to have landed a villain role), 'Attack the Block' star John Boyega and newcomer Maisie Richardson-Sellers. Boris Kit of The Hollywood Reporter also tweeted this:

With shooting scheduled to commence on May 15, it seems odd that we're still dealing with rumors, which makes us wonder if it's possible that -- with metaphorical seconds left on the clock -- Abrams and company have yet to decide who's joining the cast. Likely there is some misinformation going on, but you'd think the stars would have to be deep in training by this point (or that any lightsaber battles will be scheduled for the end of the shoot). Regardless, the film is scheduled to hit theaters December 18, 2015.
