It was on this day October 16, 1991 a massacre took place in Killeen, Texas. George Hennard (born October 15, 1956) drove his pickup into a Luby’s cafeteria and shot 23 people to death, wounding another 20 subsequently committing suicide by shooting himself. It was a day that changed Susanna Gracia Hupp’s life forever. She in turn, changed Texas’ and America’s view on guns and the Second Amendment
