Taylor Swift and her signature curls, which have been hiding since she cut bangs for her Vogue cover and opted to go straight, cover the November 2012 issue of Glamour. In all of the inside shots, the model-tall singer is boasting a full head of her famous curls. Of course, she looks gorgeous as ever in her girly dresses.

The crimson-lipped singer was point blank asked about John Mayer calling her song 'Dear John' cheap songwriting, since he assumed the tune was penned about their short-lived dalliance.

"How presumptuous!," Swift said about Mayer's attack and going as far as to think the song was about him. "I never disclose who my songs are about."

The singer also dismissed the Glamour writer's attempt to tell her all about Mayer's comments in Rolling Stone, saying she did not want to know what Mayer said he felt in that famous interview.

Swift handled it with grace and class, saying, "I know it wasn't good, so I don’t want to know. I put a high priority on staying happy, and I know what I can't handle."

Swift, while disinterested in Mayer's commentary on her and her song, was quick to point out that she just likes to keep negative things at bay. "It's not that I'm this egomaniac and I don’t want to hear anything negative, because I do keep myself in check," she said. "But I've never developed that thick a skin. So I just kind of live a life, and I let all the gossip live somewhere else. If you go too far down the rabbit hole of what people think about you, it can change everything about who you are."

Gossip, be damned when it comes to T. Swift.

And at least now we know we'll never (ever) find out who Swift is never, ever getting back together with. So keep speculating about which ex that undeniably catchy song is about.

She refused to open up about her budding relationship with Conor Kennedy, as well. She simply stated, "I don’t talk about my personal life in great detail. I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through."

Lastly, Swift did address how she is perceived in public, since her persona is that of America's sweetheart.

"I think some people think it's just apple pie and sunshine and sprinkles and ponies," she said. "Which is just funny. But I never feel the need to go out and make some grand statement that I'm dark and twisty and complicated, because I'm not that either. It's just not as simple as ponies and rainbows, though I do love ponies and rainbows."

This is why millions of young girls "lurve" Taylor Swift.
