Sure it's winter but there're plenty of other things that can make you feel cold; here's the list.

There're plenty of songs to remind you that, 'baby it's cold outside', but there're plenty of other things that can make you feel cold besides the weather.

1.  Not eating enough. Your body is better at dealing with the cold when you've had enough to eat;  the same thing goes for staying hydrated.

2.  Being on medication. Drugs that treat high blood pressure, like beta-blockers, can make you more sensitive to the cold. So can some medical conditions, like hypothyroidism.

3.  Being over 60. Not much you can do about it, but here's why: Shivering is your body's way of keeping warm by making your muscles spasm, but as you age, it doesn't work as well. You don't develop the ability to shiver until you're about two, so babies don't do it at all.

4.  Being climatized to warm weather. If you live somewhere warm and go somewhere cold for the holidays, you won't deal with it as well as people who live there, and it's not just a mental thing, your body acclimates to it. But researchers still aren't sure why.
