We Went To Basin Burger House For Lunch Yesterday, OMM NOM NOM!
March 22, 2013 7:09 AM There are many burger places around West Texas, so when my wife suggested that we try the new Basin Burgers in Downtown Midland, I wasn’t expecting too much. Instead, I was blown away!
Just walking up to the restaurant you can tell that your dining experience is going to be classic-deco with that old ‘malt shop’ feel. Everything from the glass block counter to the deco styled chairs down to the hard wood floors makes the place familiar and inviting.
We stared off with a classic chocolate milk-shake that was topped with whipped cream and streams of chocolate syrup. I then had the difficult decision of what to order from their varied menu. I went for the heart-attack-inducing Fat Boy Burger. It was amazing!
Fat Boy Burger: House-blend beef, garlic mashed potatoes, brown gravy, caramelized onions, bell peppers, Gold cheddar on house bun.
They also have a fully stocked bar for those who would like a liquid lunch or dinner.
If you are craving great food with a creative atmosphere, I recommend Basin Burger House in Downtown Midland!
