Would You Rather Work With People You Like OR Get a Raise? Survey says...

According to a new survey, there is something more important than money: Happiness. When employees were asked whether they would prefer to get a raise or to work with people they enjoyed being around, 80% of employees said that they would rather work with people they like than to get a raise.

Other important factors included how long your commute is and whether you enjoyed your job or not.

This ties in well with a nerve with another survey that determined that employees would take affirmation from the employer over race. In other words if their job if their boss told them occasionally that they were doing a good job that was just as good as getting a raise.

Just for the record, I'll take the raise, since you can't always pick the people you work with.
