‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ Gets ‘Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage
Bryan Singer has been very active on Twitter, and has been using the platform to give scoops that normally would come from the trades. Today he’s revealed that he’s just cast Peter Dinklage in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past.’

What Singer doesn’t provide is a character name, or anything about the size of role. Could he be playing a mutant, or someone from the government? Well, we’ll find out sooner or later.
But this is great news for Dinklage, who is probably best known for ‘Game of Thrones.’ Though there have been other short actors like Warwick Davis or Billy Barty who’ve achieved a modicum of fame, Dinklage is the first to be taken seriously as an actor. And that’s got everything to do with his talent; he’s usually great in whatever he’s in.
‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ is scheduled to be released July 18, 2014, and the cast is already chocked full of returning performers from ‘X-Men: First Class’ and Singer’s earlier ‘X-Men’ movies, including (but not limited to) Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen.
