New ‘Skyfall’ Clip: James Bond Underestimates “Q”
‘Skyfall‘ is only a few weeks away; can you feel the palpable excitement? The Sam Mendes-directed film is garnering some of the best reviews any James Bond flick has ever received, and to help amp up the anticipation, we’ve got a new clip to share with you.
Are you ready to meet Q?
We’ve already seen a first look at the new Quartermaster from the previously released movie still and ‘Skyfall’ poster banner, but now we get to see him in action. And he’s just as smooth talking as the international British ladies man himself.
In this brief scene, Daniel Craig‘s James Bond is introduced, in a somewhat unorthodox way, to his new Quatermaster, a sly young man played by Ben Whishaw. Their meeting is a bit on the tense side initially, mainly because Q is a lot younger than Bond expected, but soon enough it begins to look like this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Opening in the states on November 9, ‘Skyfall’ goes down like this: Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
